How long does the psychotherapeutic process take?
“How long is a piece of string?” Although asked often, there is no definitive answer to this one. The process takes as long as it takes for you to feel that you have reached where you feel you need to go.
Do you work with children?
Although I have a deep reverence for children, I do not work with young people anymore, but please get in touch and I can provide you with a referral for a colleague(s) who may be able to assist.

How long is a session?
Sessions are 50 – 60 minutes in duration.
How much are the fees?
Psychotherapy consultations for 2026 are R1400.00 per session.

Do you claim from medical aids?
Sessions are claimed directly through your medical aid by the practice accounts team following each session, and provided that funds are available.
Sessions can also be settled via card directly following each consultation at R1400.00 per session, for clients who wish to settle consultations privately instead of claiming through their medical aid.
Should medical aid funds be exhausted at the time of consultation, sessions are settled via card directly following each session. No consultations are had under credit or account agreements.
